New Products Arriving in Q3 2016
OneLook Systems are delighted to announce that we are releasing two new products in Q3 2016. Along with a major update to our flagship system we are delighted to be releasing Contractor Portal and Management of Change modules.
Contractor Portal is a new electronic system for managing all your vendors and contractors coming on site. It will enable you to see at a glance that all contractors have the necessary qualifications, insurance, and authorisations to work - with the capability of prompting you when these are due for renewal. Visitor and Induction Management is also included within Contractor Portal.
Management of Change
Management of Change is an electronic system that helps our clients with streamlining the process for recording and electronically managing the change control process. The system can be fully customised to replicate existing change control processes used on site. The module allows the tracking, approval and reporting of all outstanding change controls. The system can be used to manage any change controls used on site including process change, control system change, land & building or pressure system change.

Abbott wins Iowa-Illinois Safety Council Presidents Choice Award for the Implementation of SafePermit.
Abbott is a member of the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council which was established to help business and industry with their safety, health, and environmental programs. Abbott had implemented SafePermit in 2013 and the implementation has been so successful that it was submitted to the IISC Safety Awards.
What the project is about
Abbott replaced its paper safe work authorization permit with a computer-based system in 2013. The system drastically improved safety and operational processes associated with hazard control during Hot Work, Confined Space, Line Breaking & Surface Penetration activities. The system included safeguards into the work authorization process.
Hazard control benefits included; streamlined safety procedures; job plans reviewed in advance by on-site fire department & rescue services; complete visibility across a large campus of over 7,000 people; creation of job-specific hazard identification &control plans; and documentation control for over 10,000 written safe work permits annually.

SafePermit was the obvious choice.
Causeway Alliance selects SafePermit for major construction project in New Zealand
The New Zealand Transport Agency has engaged the Causeway Alliance to raise and widen 4.8km of State Highway 16 in Auckland, from Great North Road west to the Whau River Bridge.
What the project is about The Causeway Upgrade Project involves raising the existing six lane motorway 1.5 metres to prevent flooding and debris, and widening it to provide additional capacity in both directions. The work is being completed in stages so that disruption to the community, the environment and to traffic is kept to an absolute minimum. The causeway passes through a Pollen Island Marine Reserve requiring particular environmental consideration. The SH16 Causeway Upgrade project is being delivered by the Causeway Alliance comprising the NZ Transport Agency with Leighton Contractors, Fulton Hogan, AECOM, Coffey and Jacobs. The Causeway Alliance is a team of 120 people who have demonstrable engagement with the site workforce and have developed safety innovations with industry-wide applications.
Why Causeway Alliance Selected SafePermit?
Causeway Alliance were looking for a template based electronic permit to work system that provided an integrated end-to-end solution. SafePermit was selected as it addressed the key requirement, to provide full visibility and control thereby allowing the project team to manage risk on this complex project.
